Carol McManus opened Espresso Love in 1992. She was new to the food business, but she loved to bake and was compelled to make a living – she was the single mother of 5! She set out to make the very best morning treats and coffee and it is this simple goal that has kept the counters busy from 6:30am until late in the pm. Fresh baked goods, soups, sandwiches, pizza and, of course, great coffee keep the crowds coming all day long.
Espresso Love is a cheery place with fast service, but we love it when you linger. They love to greet regulars and make new friends. When you’re on Martha’s Vineyard, you never know who is going to show up – Kevin Spacey, Gabriel Byrne, Robert Deniro, Barack Obama and the first family or some of our local luminaries. Famous customers are fun but all our customers are important. So stop by and get the “love.”
